Explain Permissions Please

Installed FreeNAS-8.0-RELEASE-i386.iso

I'm trying to setup Windows Shares. I can duplicate the guide in this forum but it pretty much makes the shares wide open for anyone to access. This cant be.

I've setup users and groups. How do I specifically grant them access to these windows shares?

I have a share "accounting". I also have a group "accounting" with John and Jane in that groupl

Obviously something like an accounting share you would only want certain people to access.

FN8 Permissions ?

Thanks Al for the nice summer reading list. :)
It's great for some of us with SysAdmin experience.

I do think we might need to see if there is something a bit simpler for many new FN8 user/Admins.
