So currently I have a 10 bay server fully populated. Configured with a 10 wide raidz2. We are about to migrate those drives into a 24 bay chassis and will be adding drives soon. The use case is bulk storage. Redundancy over performance. I'm looking for some reccomendations on how I should layout these vdev(s)

If you dont need everything in one pool you can have 3 pools by 8 in raidz2, you will loose some hdd for redundancy but in case of resilvering will be faster than a 2x12 pools.
Although i never tried to resilver in practice 8 or 12 hdd pool so i might be wrong about the speed.
In any case you can still do a stripe of those vdevs to have one big pool (if u need so)
