Hi,

I installed vSphere ESXI 5.1 Server on a SSD. I installed a VM with the current FreeNAS Release.
FreeNAS-9.1.0-RELEASE-x64 (dff7d13)

After that i added 4x 4TB Segate (new). And mapped them as a Raw Device on the ESXI. ( http://blog.davidwarburton.net/2010/10/25/rdm-mapping-of-local-sata-storage-for-esxi/ )

After that I added the 4 Disk as a new resource to my FreeNAS VM.

GUI FreeNAS:
Storage --> Volumes --> View Disk
I see all the 4 disk. unitl here everything looks fine.

But I´m not able to create a ZFS Volume? I have no available Disk here?

Any ideas?

Thx for your support!

Stefan
