ESXi 5.0 losing iSCSI connection to FreeNas at same time every day.

Hi All,

I have an issue where my connection between ESXi and FreeNas is dropping at 4:00am every day. I assume that something is scheduled to run at that time and the connection is failing when that process runs. Looks like the connection stays down for around 40 minutes.

FreeNAS-8.3.0-RELEASE-x64 (r12701M)
Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU G840 @ 2.80GHz
14286MB


ESXi 5.1.0
i5-3570k @ 3.40GHz
24GB RAM

Any help appreciated.

have you used your monitoring system to see if freenas or the esx box wents offline?

I'm not a professional ;-), what monitoring tools do I have at my disposal with FreeNAS?

I will run a ping to the system tonight to see if anything is dropping off from the network.

Any other suggestions?
