Encryption added no matter what I choose

Hi,
I'm setting up my backup NAS again, and I have a screen setup for a change.

I noticed that it doesn't matter if I choose the Encryption checkbox. It will always write to the log eom_eli encryption aes-xts 256bit Crypto: software.

It's as if it's ignoring the checkbox and does it anyway.

It that something I did or is that the expected behaviour?

It's expected behaviour. It isn't encrypting your pool. It's encrypting the swap.
