SOLVED Encrypted pool questions

Hello, I am building a new pool and want to (GELI) encrypt the drives. Questions:

1. It is going to be a stripe of two mirrors. I expect to run out of space in the next 12 - 14 months, so I will want to add at least one more mirror vdev when I have the money for it. What is the correct procedure to add vdevs on encrypted pools? Is there any documentation on this?

2. What happens in case of a drive failure? Do I just put in another disk and it resilvers or do I need to something more than that? What about hot spares?

3. Any other pointers/advice I should know about?
