Emby Plugin has not been updated in some time

While I cannot answer that question, I can say:

You need not use plugins. If you learn how to create your own jails, you can maintain your own emby installation, and you can update it yourself as updates become available in the FreeBSD ports tree.

I do know how to create jails, have previously done so for Emby, and am aware of my options.

I'm simply wondering why the plugin has not been updated. Not complaining, just wondering.

Thank you Jailer. I appreciate the link, but it does not answer the question I asked. Still wondering why the Emby Plugin is no longer maintained.

iX is transitioning away from Warden to iocage. The Warden based jails will no longer be updated. I wouldn't expect all the plugins to be up to date on iocage until 11.2 is released.
