Hi,
I am running FreeNAS 9.2.1.5. I am trying to add a user in the Edit Permissions dialog of Windows 7. This is a subfolder of the root. I see the owning group and user as existing permissions, but when I try and search (or manually type) another user to add permissions, it says it cannot be found.
The share is set to WIndows ACL and I have no problem editing the permissions of the existing groups or users already owning the folder.
Are there any special settings required in order to have Windows find FreeNAS users? It also cannot find any other groups either.
