Drive space

Hi all,

I have installed a 2nd HDD, 1TB formatted as UFS, and after mounting it is only showing 800GB - a 20% loss.

Just wanted to check whether this sounds to be expected?

FYI, I am booting from USB and 1st HDD is 1.3TB formatted as UFS. Non-Raid (JBOD).

Yes, the OS reserves an amount of space as very bad things happen when the filesystem starts to get too full.
