I'm an experienced Windows system administrator, but very new to the BSD world. So maybe I'm doing something wrong. Reflexively, I always check my downloaded packages against any hash that's provided in case they were corrupted.
Recently, I downloaded all 3 of the 64 bit 9.2.1.2 FreeNAS packages (ISO, img and vmdk), but only the ISO matched the hash shown on the download page. I tried the 32 bit packages and found the same thing. I downloaded the files several times, but still the SHA256 hashes don't match. Am I doing something wrong? I tried the hash against the download and against the decompressed packages as well.
I'm downloading and checking the hashes on a Windows 7 machine, but I don't have any issues with packages and hashes from other sites.
Is anyone else seeing this problem?
