Doubt on restore snapshot

Well, I have a doubt. I had a hdd with a problem, when I changed the hdd, by mistake I add the new one instead of replacing. My bad. Now I must make a new pool. I have a second FreeNAS machine where replication snapshots are stored. So because I don't want to lose 18tb of data... can someone advise me which is the best way to do this?

Create the new pool, then use replication to restore the data from the second FreeNAS machine.
