Does two uplinks of 50mpbs help?

Hey guys,

I am planning to setup a TrueNAS or a OMV NAS setup soon on a Desktop PC .I would like to know if there will be any use if I have two uplinks of 50MBPS each (Gigabit Cables and NICs) and will there be any use if I have a 50 MBPS subscription?
