Destroying my pool then recreate with the same name will i have problems with samba?

i will destroy the pool and recreate with 6 discs instead of 4 - the pool name will be the same.
because the pool name is the same will everything i have created still work?
can anybody forsee any problems?

Not sure. I assume you are asking if you have to redo the config. You mentioned Samba and Scrub. Even if it's not "the same" I would think reconfiguring those two would be relatively easy. No?

i haven't done this for years and i have huntingtons disease. so i was hoping to do as little as possible

Right. What filesystem format? How are you transferring data to them?
ntfs using directory opus on a windows system

Understood. By reconfig I'd assume the mappings in the config would still be there. Meaning you'd simply have to click into the share config and verify the path and click "Ok" again. (I use the legacy interface). Same for scrub. Probably take 30 seconds max.

for anybody interested, after i destroyed and rebuilt with the same name - the samba share still works.
but i have to redo the scrub
