Hello,
I am exploring FreeNAS as I wonder around.
I will be using multiple data sets on my volume to break down data stirage by project.
This way, each person can have access to files in the their project.
When creating a data set, you assign a user.
I want to be able to allow Tom, Dick and Harry to one data set.
I want to allow Jane, Suzie and harry to a second
Harry has access to both. But, no one else has access to more than one.
When creating the data set, there is a name and password. This is the one that I use to get into the files on the data set. It is under my own account.
Can I create a group, and allow the various members of this group to enter with their name and passwords?
Sorry for the basic questions, but I am reading and learning.
Thanks
Joe
