Creating mirror vdev

Have two new drives. Want to make a mirror vdev. It only gives me Stripe, Log, Cache, and Spare. How do I create a vdev instead of a pool?

Edit: BTW, the drives aren't quite the same size, but when I manually create the zpool in shell it fails mounting.

Select the "manual setup" option (lower right hand corner of volume manager page).

You should be able to create your mirror vdev. It's size will be limited to the size of the smaller drive.

Stop using the shell and use the gui.
