so I have couch potato installed and it has downloaded movies. however there seems to be some problem because it uses transmission to download to the "download" folder and then it is supposed to move it to the "movie" folder.
when I go into the movie folder a folder have been created for the movies that were downloaded but they are both empty.
When I go into the download folder the downloaded folders are still there but the files inside have been modified.

Does it have traverse jail to jail or are transmission and couchpotato within the same jail?

Nope, I shut off the post processing and manually move the files.

This is problem ins't specific to freenas. the fact the .ignore files are there shows couchpotato sees the file there but can't positively identify it.

I beleive couchpotato will usually add ttXXXXXXX to the naming of a download, where the X's are the movie's IMDB ID. For some reason your downloads weren't named properly.

if it isnt an issue with identifying the files it might be a rights issue i know couchpotato has issues if the permissions are not set correctly on both the target and the source folders and files yes even if it can write to the folders.
In the couchpotato settings menu click show advanced you should see a Folder CHMOD and File CHMOD you want the rights there to match your folders.

he could clear his log to make things easier to read, delete the ignore files, force post-process the folder from the 'Wanted > ...' in couchpotato, then read the log to see exactly what the problem is.
