Core U2 stuck on boot after install

Hello,

I have been running core u1.1 for testing purposes, however the u2 version after install gets stuck on first boot. (screenshot attached)

During this "stuck" state, it uses 34% of 4 cores i gave it consistently and a bit of io as well for about 30 minutes already without a change.

I'm running it under a vm in proxmox, with 28GiB of ram, cpu type host with 4 cores, boot virtual disk is running at directsync.

I tried upgrading from u1.1 to u2 with same result as above.

Direct allocated disks from the host are known to misbehave at times. The only proven way to allocate disks to the guest is via a PCI passthrough of an HBA with connected disks.
