Connect TrueNAS to Linux IPA + Windows AD

Hi

I am testing TrueNAS Core (a VM) before moving to the real hardware (TrueNAS Enterprise) and I am struggling with joining my test environment to both Linux IPA and Windows AD. I have a lot of users from both sides and I have to be able to provide access to them.
My NetApp and Dell NAS servers are able to do that with no issues, but with TrueNAS I receive errors enabling LDAP when AD is enabled (or vice versa).
Any ideas? Will TrueNAS Enterprise able to do that?

It should work both on CORE/Enterprise.. Can you provide any details on the errors you are getting? What version of TrueNAS as well?

Version - TrueNAS-12.0-U5.1 (The latest one)

If TrueNAS is joined to AD, enabling LDAP (IPA) says:

If I enable IPA, I can't enable AD:

You can't have both enabled at once, they do the same thing from the TrueNAS perspective.... Why are you trying to use both AD + LDAP at once?

TrueNAS does not support being connected multiple AD/LDAP servers at once. We've avoided that for a long time due to all the edge cases it opens up for failure. On the Enterprise side we don't typically see this type of setup requested due to all the problems it would introduce.
