Configuration Reload Request?

Since updating to the beta on 1 system, I am seeing the following log entry every 1-3 hours on the hour. Is this the new normal?

syslog-ng[1638]: Configuration reload request received, reloading configuration;

I get this too. On the hour. Have no idea wtf it is.

Investigating this......will get back with either an explanation or a fix (hopefully an explanation).

I think it is syslog-ng's way of informing that the newsyslog utility was run (I may be wrong, but it is a hunch).

Its done!

I was fixing (still am) the volume imports hence did not get around to doing this.

It was indeed a newsyslog utility issue, which has now been switched to run every day at midnight instead of every hour.
