I have been using FreeNAS 8.3 for awhile now, and I have thought that my 3MB/s from my Cifs share was fast, but then I setup a FTP server, and it got 50-55MB/s. I was astonished, so I went on google looking for answers. I have yet to find something that helps me. So now I am posting it here.
System Specs:
CPU: AMD Phenom 9850 Quad-Core Processor
RAM: 6128MB (6GB) of DDR2 800Mhz Memory
Hard Drive: Seagate 1TB 7200RPM Hard Drive.
