Quick question. How many drives are you planning and what chassis are you using?
Personally I would buy the MB from Newegg (I have posted a 15% coupon code in off topic) and the Ram from SuperBiiz if you are in the States.

At the moment 1 pool of 6 X 4tb
I can't buy from Newegg cause I'm not in the US. But thanks for that. Also was there any problems with Intel expansion card or will that not work.

And thanks for the reply

I do not know if that card will work. There us a thread here where someone planned on using the same card. (Note that that card can connect 24 drives but I'm not sure it can handle bigger the 2TB drives.

Most people on this forum will recommend IBM1015 card. IT supports 8 drives when flushed to IT mode and supports bigger drives.
Also if you are only planning on using 6 drives, start with no card. The 6 SATA ports on the SuperMicro is enough. Also note that the SuperMicro comes with 6 SATA cables!

Thanks very much. Is every thing else good? Just for comparison sake what system do you have? And for the M/B is that the best one to get or is there a better choice. Also the ram I picked wasn't on the MB list, will that be a prob. Or will it be like the ram I have on my Pc. Not listed but works.

My systems are in my signature. The MB you chose is very popular here. I went for the X10 because it is newer tech, but that is not that important. The Kingston ram is what I'm using. Work perfectly. (I assume you know that the SuperMicro board want ECC unbuffered.)
Just interested, why the NIC? The SuperMicro has 2 Intel NICs. Youre adding 4 more?

Btw, I use the same USB, but will go for smaller PSU. I like my 360's though they need splitter cable.
If you do go SAS, you want reverse breakout cables.
