As the title says.

I've read everywhere about compatibility problems between Realtek NIC and Freenas.

So I wonder if someone knows what's the cheapest Mini-ITX Motherboard with Intel NIC and ofc Intel socket/cpu/chipset.

Otherwise should be a good solution if I buy a PCI-e Intel NIC card?

Ty a lot in advance.

The ASRock E3C224D2I is the least expensive server-grade Mini-ITX board I could find on newegg.com at about $200. It uses an Intel server-grade chipset which supports ECC, has IPMI, and has two Intel GbE NICs.

If you don't care about ECC support, IPMI, and general server-grade goodness, the Asus H87I-Plus has an Intel 217 chipset for the NIC, and is about $75 as an open-box part from Newegg ($100 new). That's the cheapest I could find there.

Ty a lot. The cheapest I've found till now was a Supermicro with integrated j1900 at about 146 € + 17 shipping from US...

The Asus H87I-Plus and a Pentium g3220 are about 180 € total here... :(

Too bad newegg does not ships to Italy.

Get a Lenovo TS140 then. It's not much more expensive but fully supports ECC and comes with a Core i3-4xxx. Up to 5 internal HDDs.
