Hi,
I have a working CentOS VM running and I would like to know if I can Change the Disk Mode from AHCI to VirtIO, or if I have to setup the VM from the skretch.

You can change it by clicking Devices -> Disk -> Edit for the VM.

And this I can do when every thing is already setup?
So shutdown the VM, change it and start up?

UPDATE:
Unfortunately its not so easy. By changing from AHCI to virtIO CentOS will not boot properly. I think some drivers are missing, but not sure.

UPDATE2:
I reinstalled the CentOS VM new with the disk mode "virtIO". This was much quicker than to figure out how to modify the exiting VM to run with virtIO (very limited linux knowledge).
