can't ping on FreeNAS host; Virtual_Box_Internal_Network

I am working on VirtualBox and freeNAS is running fine; the thing is that the software where I have hosted freeNAS (Linux Debian Dis.) is unable to ping any internet address.

Linux Host -> ip: 10.0.2.17/24, gw: 10.0.2.1
freeNAS vm -> ip: 10.0.2.16/24

they are connected through internal network

It would be an immense help if you could figure out the problem.

@dlavigne yes I can ping now by rebuilding the network I assigned a bridged network and an internal one to both freenas vm and the host vm . Still cannot install plugin though :(
