SOLVED Can't complete Syncthing install

When I try to install Syncthing at the 90% mark I get this message:
Error: syncthing had a failure Exception: GitCommandError Message: Cmd('git') failed due to: exit code(128) cmdline: git clone -v https://github.com/freenas/iocage-plugin-syncthing.git /mnt/pool_1_Rz2/iocage/jails/syncthing/plugin stderr: 'Cloning into '/mnt/pool_1_Rz2/iocage/jails/syncthing/plugin'... fatal: unable to access 'https://github.com/freenas/iocage-plugin-syncthing.git/': Could not resolve host: github.com ' Partial plugin destroyed
I just set the install to DHCP then hit save thinking I'd go and set permissions and mounts later.

TrueNAS 12.0 U6
ASrockRack X470D4U2-2T mobo
AMD r7 3800x
32 GB non ecc mem
1 pool: Rz2- 5x 4TB Seagate Iron Wolf; 1x 250GB PNY ssd hd (boot); 1x TB Crucial NVMe ( PCIe 3.0 adapter card in 1st(gpu?) slot as log.
using mobo SATA and nics(gig ipmi & 2x 10/1 Gib ports.

Check the networking on your server outside the plugin. Do you have DNS servers set? Do you have a default gateway set?

Strangely,the system was able to download and setup Madsonic. I added the DNS servers and that seemed to do the trick. It seems like an installation wizard similar to the one in Freenas would be helpful, especially now when Truenas Core is the newbie's platform. All the earlier videos use the wizard when setting up the system.
