cannot acces downloads folder sabnzb

Hello,

I'm new to the Freenas plugins, and also not a heavvy freenas or unix user but want to learn.

I have installed freenas 9.2, also the plugin sabnzb.
I can acces it via the webpage, and downloading goes well. I can acces the download folder, also the incomplete, but not the complete folder.
And in sabnzb config panel, set Permissions for completed downloads to 777.


My freenas is running an cifs share where the jail is installed on. I tried several things but don't know really what to do, before destroying something.

Have you set up storage to map the folder inside the jail to the one outside?

No i dont think so, do I have to?
So source is folder in the vids share and destination the downloads folder in the jail?

Yup, jails are like a VM, they can't access folders outside - you have to map using the storage option. Have a read of this thread, it's full of useful tips - http://forums.freenas.org/threads/release-thread-sabnzbd-plugin.14368/
