Hi, I'm trying to set up a FreeNAS setup with Transmission, CouchPotato, SickBeard and Plex.

My FreeNAS server is set to a static IP: 192.168.1.99

I can ping my Jail IP addresses no problem, but when I try to access their web interfaces I immediately get a "[ip address] is not available" error. Specific error code if I ask Chrome for more info is ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED.

I did make sure to edit the jails and add my router's IP as the IPv4 Default Gateway. I also tried restarting the plugins and reinstalling them. I also made sure the IPs the jails are using don't conflict with what my router is giving out on DHCP.

After a lot of Googling, I've run out of solutions to try, hence this topic creation.

Are the Plugins showing as ON in the Plugins -> Installed tab? Is there a firewall running on the client or somewhere on the network?

Hi, thank you for your response. I've confirmed that the plugins are switched on in that tab. I then disabled both my Windows 8.1 firewall on my desktop PC, as well as the firewall on my router (Asus running Merlin firmware). Still get the same problem.

I then restarted the plugins (toggled them all off and on) after doing this and tested again. Still have the same problem.

Something trivial, but you don't say it:
Do you indicate the port numbers in the web browser address bar, that you have define on your PBI set-up?
As generally they aren't standard ports you should do it.

Hi, I think this may be my problem, as I was just inputting the IP addresses into my browser with no port defined. How do I find out what port a plugin is expecting for connecting to its web interface?

Edit: Yup, sure enough I just connected to Plex via http://192.168.1.4:32400/web/index.html after doing a quick Google search for a tutorial specific to the plugin. I'm assuming the others are just as simple.

Thanks so much! The tutorial I followed makes zero mention of this for some reason.

The port are defined in the GUI plugin set-up.
Follow carefully the Freenas documentation (examples are provided), and be careful with exotic websites found with Google...
