See my Post: http://forums.freenas.org/showthrea...adding-another-hdd-for-device-extent-on-iscsi
Recreation of Bug: Have existing data on hdd, create a Device Extent and add to target. on remote machine, Data is Missing! No warnings no documentation, no nothing... just wipes data.
as written in above post, I added a hdd to my FreeNAS server, and the ada labels got mixed up and I rearranged them. Boot my WHS, and low and behold, Un-Initialized Disk! WTF... eh?
So, I think this is a Bug, or maybe a document write up or some kinda warning about what is going to happen if you rearrange ada labels to device extents or something!
Anyway, FYI
