boot problem HP proliant dl 385 with 8.3.1

I run FreeNAS on a HP proliant dl 385 with dual opterons and 16 gig of ram. FreeNAS up to 8.3.0 p1 have run smooothly. But with 8.3.1 (beta, RC and release) rebooting is not possible. It hangs during boot at acpi step, and never finishes. Booting with ACPI disabled makes the system hang on RAID in boot process. Anyone else experiencing this and know anything to fix it ? reverting to 8.3.0 p1 will fix it.

I have experienced exactly the same issue with my dl 385 with 8 gig of ram.

Free nas 8.3.1 fails to boot fully, and its the same system hang with acpi disabled. I have no idea of this so I cant help.

You have gone to 8.2.X ? and it boots and runs ok for you?

Does Smart disk work ok for you too?
