Binding to LDAP/OD fails without meaningful error

We just took delivery of a brand-new system to replace our old FreeNAS (12-year-old hardware doesn't actually last forever). Pulled the drives out of the failed system and they imported easily into the new box BUT we can't get LDAP authentication to work. This "error" is the result of every attempt to enable LDAP binding:



Can anyone point the way to a solution? This was working perfectly on our old system running FreeNAS 11.

Were you able to resolve this? If not, which build version is the system in question (from System -> Information)?
