Auto transfer of any file type?

Is there a jail/ plugin that will auto sync a copy of a specified folder on a drive on my PC computer.

I use my one PC for business and it has all my business files on it as well as website backups and stuff like that. I would like to have them automatically transferred daily or any time of change. Have it check hourly or something like that. The computer stays on all the time so I assume it's possible. Not sure where to start looking.

I don't think btsync would do the job but maybe I'm wrong.

Any tips or suggestions would be great.

Need files from Windows 7 transferred to freenas 9.3.x

Syncthing or btsync would do exactly that. Not sure why you think they wouldn't.

ownCloud would also do this--you can specify in the desktop client which folder (or folders) you want to sync, and it will keep them up to date on the server. It does have mobile client apps as well, though they don't auto-download everything on any kind of schedule if that's something you want. Just to give another possible option.

For mobile. Does it auto backup your photos/videos. Say every time you open the app does it sync the new ones to the server?

Same goes for the computer. Would it auto sync my business folder any time there was a change or new file added?

i know for the android app can autoupload photos and videos. you don't have to open the app, it gets triggered after a photo/video is taken, or after you connect to WiFi, depending on your settings.

the desktop client sync chosen folders and has granular per folder settings so you can do pretty much anything you want.
