Hey everyone,
So yes, I'm a moron, and I very much realize it, so I will start the whole thing with 'if it is gone, it is gone'...but, I figured I'd ask.
I'm on 11.2-u3. I upgraded the hardware last year, so I have two volumes. The 'old' volume is still in use, but new data is going to the 'new' volume.
I was clearing out some data on both volumes two days ago. About 0.68 seconds after I confirmed that I was okay destroying the dataset on the 'old' volume that contained my jails, I realized I had an Owncloud jail that likely has some photos I would like to move elsewhere...but the 'cancel' button was useless.
My saving grace is that literally no data has been written to the 'old' volume since that moment, so there's a better chance of recovering the data still. However, I don't have any snapshots, because the dataset was depreciated and even my manual backup to a Synology skipped that dataset.
I did some searching and many people referenced the 'zpool import -D' command, but when I run it, I get absolutely zero returned data; just the next line to enter a command. 'zpool import' by itself gives me nothing, either.
So, like I said, if I'm screwed, it's definitely my fault...but, if there's a chance that one of the incredible specialists here are able and willing to assist, I would be incredibly appreciative.
