Installed TrueNAS Scale on Dell Z640 with 2x 3TB HDDs and redundant boot drives named sda & sdb . Drives were clean and nothing else pre or post installed. Both drives are indicated under Storage tab on interface, but I can't seem to figure out to get drives recognized for creating a pool. Please help with suggestions. Thanks!

George

You've already created a pool on them, the boot pool. They can't be used for anything else--as the installer and the manual tell you.

Dan, thanks for your quick reply. I found the references you mentioned. I missed those. Solved by purchasing 2x 256K USB flash drives and works great.
