Wow, glad I didn't. I was having so many problems getting any decent network speeds. Around 10 megabits a second via cifs. With fedora, I was getting around 60 megabits.
I tried several suggestions on the forum and nothing sped it up.
I realize now that the problem was I installed 9.2.1 rc2. Once I went back to 9.2.0, I'm getting 100 megabits or more! Fast fast fast!
I installed 9.2.1 rc 2 because 9.20 was crashing when installing plugins on my test virtual box.
My setup:
Intel core 2 quad core
8 GB ram
8 GB USB flash for frenas
6 terabytes of hard drives spread across 3 drives.
