If an ISCSI imitator can connect and use an ISCSI target, regardless if its "allowed" or not - what is the purpose of the "Allowed Initiators (IQN)" section?
It would be nice if a target wasn't allowed to be mounted if the Connected Initiators wasn't selected as an Allowed Initiator. I'm not seeing that's the way this works though. If it was, then it would have prevented me from connecting two machines to the same ISCSI target.
Correct? What am I misunderstanding?
Thanks!
