ahci error

I got the following error message. I don't have any drives attached to ahcich3. my drives are attached to ahcich0 and ahcich1. Does anybody know why I get this message?

(aprobe1:ahcich3:0:0:0): ATA_IDENTIFY. ACB: ec 00 00 00 00 40 00 00 00 00 00 00
(aprobe1:ahcich3:0:0:0): CAM status: Unconditionally Re-queue Request
(aprobe1:ahcich3:0:0:0): Error 5, Retry was blocked

Thanks doctor, USB boot drive is attached to it. Will replace the USB flash stick.

Thought so. Recommend you buy *TWO* new small form factor USB drives (FreeNAS 9.3 allows for mirrored boot pools). The Community recommends the Sandisk Cruzer Fit 2.0, 16GB. There is also a small form factor Samsung that just came out that should be excellent as well, but the minimum size is 32GB.

Wait, what? How on earth does a USB drive show up under AHCI? USB mass storage devices share literally nothing with AHCI, since they're exposed to the OS as SCSI devices (hence the da designation for USB mas storage devices).

Hence, my request (that was not fulfilled) to see the output of camcontrol devlist. ;)

Figured since the user didn't show the output of camcontrol devlist, that he misspoke earlier, so I just let it go.
