Adding AD group to wheel / sudoers

I want to configure things so that members of my AD group "domain admins" can ssh into my server and run some commands as root. I assume that changes to sudoers aren't persistent. Is there a way to add "Domain Admins" to wheel?

Sudo + SSSD has been added for 9.3: https://bugs.freenas.org/issues/5552. The original request was for LDAP but I assume AD has something similar as well?
