Access to drives from previous machine

Built new system in signature using LSI HBA card and hard drives from old machine. Machine is working but cannot get access to hard drives. Import does not work and drives are no longer visible in bios. Would like to format and start over if possible. Thanks for help!

If the drives aren't showing up in BIOS it's a hardware issue somewhere causing them to not be seen by the motherboard for whatever reason. You won't be able to do anything with them in FreeNAS until you can get them to be seen by the motherboard itself. Make sure the BIOS SATA settings are set properly for the type of drives you are connecting, and make sure that the power supply is actually supplying power to the drives.
