9.2 Upgrade hangs on shutdown

Upgraded to 9.2 a few hours ago and I get the following error/hang on shutdown. No stop light errors or other that I can see related to the volume.

umass0: at uhub0, port 4, addr 2 (disconnected)
(da0:umass-sim0:0:0:0) lost device - 0 outstanding, 3 refs

Tried detaching, replacing usb and removing all together. On removing it then still hangs but on the next usb.

any ideas?

Thanks, I guess I got side tracked by the first paragraph being unrelated. I had no volume errors, and on reading I ended up following the link and forgot to come back to it..
