Noticed that despite the CIFs controversy (samba issues posted everywhere), my freenas is still at 9.2.0 but probably spitting out SAMB4 commands.

* System Build says: FreeNAS-9.2.0-RELEASE-x64 (ab098f4)
* Did a testparm | less to see my /usr/local/etc/smb_conf shows max as SMB2

So I think the only solution is to do a new USB with 9.2.0 on it or just go back to factory settings.

I would only need to know how to reimport my pool (zpool import poolname) ?

No, go to the manual. It explains how to import pools. Do a CLI import and you'll be sorry...

Out of curiosity, why would they be sorry? Because the GUI wont show the pool data correctly leading to more problems?
Under the hood i would assume the gui is doing some sort of zpool import and metadata updates?

Did the factory reset and GUI to bring back my Media pool.

Now still seeing a lot of console smbd errors: init_smb_request: invalid wct number 255 (size 112)

Also I noticed that while I could install 2 plugins (CouchPotato and SickBeard), I've tried Plex and now Transmission and both stuck at 75% of step 4/4.

Rebooted and configed to existing jail and plugins are fine.

Now, my Win7 and Win 8.1 can see the network but all 'x' and cannot read any directory. i've checked permissions on media and subsequent directories and all good. This is the samba thing.
