So I'm comfortably on 9.10, with no issues. Common wisdom would advise me to wait and not make the leap to anything x.0 and maybe wait for a point release (or two). However the release notes suggest that 11 is considerably faster than 9.10.

Curiously, I've not seen much of any feedback on people who've gone from 9.10 to 11.0, good or bad. Are people being cautiously hesitant, or are y'all just having such a smooth ride it's not worth posting about? :P And if you've successfully upgraded, what's been your experience with performance or any other benefits that would encourage someone to upgrade beyond "staying current"?

I do have a spare USB flash drive and my config safely backed-up. No VMs, no dockers... just one jail.

I'll add a poll for people who don't feel like typing.

I'm waiting for the planned switch from Warden to Iocage for GUI jails management. I've got a few jails and I don't want to have to rebuild them twice so I'm waiting.
That is good info. I too do not want to rebuild stuff more than once.

Also, I want to make sure the support for VMs is stable with BHyve (which it should be) before taking the plunge. I would really like to do away with ESXi as it is just another layer to have to manage.

Cheers,
