Hi,

I upgraded 2 nights ago to 9.10.1-U2 from 9.10. I can log into the GUI fine, but I went to use my actual device and noticed the screen was solid white.

The reason that I went directly to my machine was because I originally made an SSD the boot drive. After a lot of research I have decided to swap out that SSD with a HDD and start over. I wanted to make a USB my boot drive. This is just side info.

When I go back to the web GUI, if I choose to boot into an old version, the screen is fine and I can navigate the menu fine. Does anyone know why this would be happening ONLY on 9.10.1-U2?

No clue what your problem is but your hardware, specifically your motherboard, isn't that great and has lots of features that could not be supported and causing the problem.

Try running grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg and then reboot.
