82572EI FreeNAS 9.3

I finally and purchased an Intel NIC (82572EI) to replace the onboard Nvidia nfe0 that has been buggy (mostly after reboots).

I'm having issues with the Intel NIC as well; I have a static IP set on it and can see the MAC address in ddwrt for a short period of time then it drops off. I cannot ping the DG from FreeNas, I also cannot ping it from DD-WRT not sure what else to try?

Bad network cable between your server and the network?

the cable was previously working have also replaced it with a new one, same results.

Not sure. I doubt it's your FreeNAS box though. It's possible that your Intel card is bad, but there's not enough information to go on. You're going to have to narrow down the problem yourself unfortunately. :(
