8.0.4 Release - System does not power down on shut down

Shutting down using either the Web GUI or CLI starts the shutdown routine, kills all services, shows the final system uptime, the screen goes blank, but the system does not power down.
Same behavior with all other 8.0.* releases.
System spec is in my sig.

That requires hardware support within OS, my guess is that ACPI of your hardware is buggy in FreeBSD... Upadting BIOS may or may not help...
