Right now for all of my media files I have 6 1TB HDD's in a striped array which is working great. As some of the drives are older or were sitting in a drawer for some time, I'd like to see if it's possible to resize the volume and mirror the drives. Is there an easy way to do this without having to delete the volume and then essentially set all of my plugins back up from scratch? Thanks in advance for the help...

Ok, so it's what I expected. So then, is there a way to backup all of my plugins and settings as well as the volumes and datasets? Or is this truly being set up all over again?

you could get another 6 drives and add a drive to each vdev...
No you can't do this since there is only 1vdev.

To try and preserve everything you can crest another zfs pool and replicate that data sets to that pool. Then after the rebuild you can upload your configuration file and replicate back.

If they're 6 striped disks (meaning 6 striped vdevs), he can add a mirror to each individual disk.

Yep, IIRC you can't stripe drives in a vdev so a priori it's 6 vdevs stripped together.

Yeah, its just my TV and Movie files that I've accumulated over the years and a few bits of software that I wanted to hold on to. I'll probably move everthing to another NAS and then just delete the pool and start over. I was just hoping that there was something a bit easier. The advice is much appreciated.
