Hallo zusammen, ich bin gerade fertig damit meine Hardware für mein neues NAS&HTPC zusammen zu bauen. jetzt bin ich auf der suche nach einem OS dafür. Freenas 11 würde mir grundsätzlich gut gefallen, gibt es jetzt eine Möglichkeit Kodi(mit Audio-/Videoausgabe) darauf zu installieren? Ich finde...- satdast

Is FreeNAS right for my limited needs?

Why use Plex when Kodi is cheaper?
Hello Just curious about something. When setting up a FreeNAS server, you generally need a bit of CPU to support Plex transcoding. What are the benefits of this? Why don't people just serve their media files over the network and have clients like Kodi play them directly? It would save some...
