I'm having similar issues, suddenly get the following error.

By chance did the computer you are using get a windows update recently? Mine did the other night and this was the first time I tried to access it since. The interesting thing is I can still get onto the IP login just fine where I'm able to make changes to the Truenas itself. It's when I try to access the files thru file manager that I get the error. I'm thinking it's something with the update but can't figure it out.

It did get an update but It was after it stopped working and I updated it to see if it would fix it. I can also login to server dashboard just fine and I can see my server in explorer but any attempts to map drives or access through explorer fail.

I recently had a very similar issue, where one particular system was refusing to connect and getting the same error even though I was able to ping my truenas IP from the same system.

I got around it by removing any existing connection my system had with truenas (in my case a network location) and re-mapping the connection as a mapped network drive.

with net view 192.xxxxx I get system 5 error has occurred. access is denied.
Was your truenas set up with a static ip? Perhaps the router changed the ip after the server was off for so long.

access is denied would imply that your username / password combo as passed by the windows machine is not being recognised.
Type whoami at the windows prompt and make sure that the user matches a TN user.

my username did not match so I changed it so both usernames and passwords to match but its still the same result.

Thanks all who helped. I fixed it, either it was the username not matching or there seemed to be something wrong with the disconnected mapped drives as they wouldnt delete right away but after I rebooted they were gone and it connects fine now. thanks.
