Hello. I have an older FreeNAS box that has been running non-stop for about 4 years. Its running FreeNAS-9.2.1.3 and has x6 2TB drives. I dont want to fool withre-doing the whole system, the drives are older and I need more space. Doubling the capacity with x6 4TB drives would be more than enough for the next 3 years. What is the best way to upgrade the space?

Note: All it is used for is Plex and to backup some data.

I'm sure someone will chime in and correct me if i'm wrong but if you only have 6 slots with no space to store more inside (Assuming those are set up in 3 mirrors)

The process would be (in FreeNAS GUI)

Storage > Pools > Settings Wheel > Status> Select Drive > Options >Offline > Take Drive out > Place in New one?

Wouldn't this be if you had space to add more inside though?
