11.2 or 11.3 for new build

So I'm still waiting for the last components to arrive for my build (hopefully next week) but then I'm building my first freenas machine.
With 11.3 being almost out, would you recommend I just hop on that, or just be safe and go for 11.2?

Installing a pre-release could mask build issues.

U8 has no release date.
11.3 is scheduled for 7th Jan.

Wasn't planning on pre-release, but 11.3 is coming out jan 7 so I thought I could maybe hop onto that the day it comes out. I'm just receiving the last parts for the build today anyways so would actually be pretty good timing.
But i guess 11.2-U7 is way more production proven...
Can there issues transitioning from 11.2 to 11.3 if i decide i want to do that later? I really don't want to lose a pool once I migrated.
