Build:
  • Mobo: ASRock EPC602D8A
  • RAM: 4x 16GB DDR3 ECC REG 1866 MHz
  • CPU: XEON E5 2637V2 3.5GHz 4 core 8 threads
  • PSU: Seasonic Focus+550FX
  • OS Disk:Sandisk CZ73 32G usb3.0
After successfully installing the system in U disk,When booting the interface has been stuck”quirks=0*2<NO_6_BYTE>''
I consulted some information.it's possible that freenad doesn't support USB3.0,It can be added“xhci_load"of“Thunables”,and set the value to“YES”
So how to make it set up?
Thanks!

Why are you installing an old version? Try 11.2 latest.

What happens when you:
  1. Use the same drives on the USB2 ports?
  2. Unplug one of the drives (I think you went for a mirrored boot)?
  3. Install Freenas on only one drive, instead of two (you can mirror the boot drive in the UI later)?

Thank you for your answer
I tried to check only one u disk, and reinstall the system only on one U disk. but I still can't enter freenas.
I tried to insert the U disk into the usb2.0 and installation system. It is successful
But I don't know how to run the system on usb2.0 will it affect performance?

Not significantly. Your boot times and system updates will be slightly slower but that shouldn't matter since you will do those things once every 3 months or even less. It won't affect pool or jail performance, since Freenas runs (almost) completely from memory after boot.

OK, thank you, then I can rest assured of running on usb2.0

11.2 still has the old GUI, which still has the old localizations.

Localization efforts are ongoing for some languages, including Chinese, for future releases.
